Event bookings are secured upon receipt of a £50, non-refundable booking fee. This confirms the Agreement and secures my availability for the Event on the agreed date and time for the agreed fee. Please be advised that Kate London Beauty ‘Makeup Artist’ cannot hold any bookings without the booking fee being paid. Once received the booking fee will be deducted from the final balance.
For booking fee payments by bank transfer, the booking is only confirmed once the bank transfer has cleared in the Makeup Artist’s bank account.
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
Kate London Beauty has a minimum booking requirement of x4 Makeups or the equivalent spend of; ~ £290 for 2024,
~ £330 for 2025. (Flower girls, trials and travel are not included within the minimum requirement.)
For larger Bridal parties I can look to bring in another Makeup Artist of my choosing, who shares a similar style to myself. The fee to bring another artist on board is £50 on top of makeup service costs.
If this is arranged and later you decide to decrease the numbers, the cost of the original numbers will still be payable.
TRIALS
Trial appointments are not set in stone and may be moved as Wedding bookings take priority. In this instance an alternative date will be arranged.
PAYMENTS
Full payment of the outstanding balance is required at least four weeks before the Event. Kate London Beauty will send you a reminder at this time. Late payments may be subject to late payment fees and/or cancellation of service in the event no contact is made.
Payments can be accepted in cash or by bank transfer.
If the Event is less than four weeks away, full payment is required in order to secure the booking.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Makeup Artist of any potential issues such as; medical conditions, allergies and/or sensitivities. The Makeup Artist cannot be held liable for any condition that arises or loss incurred by the Client if the Client has not informed the Makeup Artist of any known conditions as stated above, or of any conditions unknown to the Client at the time of the service.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations by the client for a Wedding Service that are received less than one calendar month prior to the wedding date incur the full fee of service.
Cancellations received more than a month before the Wedding Service will incur a cancellation fee of £50 plus any payments already made to the Makeup Artist.
Cancellations are only valid via email, verbal cancellations are not accepted as they are not deemed valid by the Makeup Artist.
Cancellations by the client for a Glam Service at any time will incur a cancellation fee of £30.
Cancellations received less than 48 hours before a Glam Service will incur the full fee for the service.
The Makeup Artist reserves the right to cancel the Booking if the behaviour of the Client is deemed inappropriate or the Client reports a condition that the Makeup Artist deems could be a risk to either parties health and wellbeing. In this instance any payments that have already been made by the Client for the service are non-refundable.
PHOTOGRAPHY & USE OF IMAGES
Photographic/video images of the Client, Party and/or Event may be used by the Makeup Artist in promotional material including social media unless the Client has expressly withdrawn their consent in writing.
